Featured Project: Hanover RINO

In December 2024, our team completed an exciting multi-phase project in the RINO neighborhood. This development included both public amenity spaces and private residential units, each with its own unique functional and aesthetic looks. The result is a cohesive, modern, and beautifully executed window-coverings package that enhances comfort, convenience, and architectural style throughout the entire property.
A Standout Feature: Shimmer Screen Installation in the Media Room
One of the highlights of this project, and something we’re especially proud of—is the custom shimmer screen installation in the community media room. Shimmer screens are an uncommon architectural element, and they require careful planning, precise measurement, and meticulous installation. The finished effect provides a unique sense of movement and visual depth, along with a high-end, design-driven focal point not typically found in standard construction. This feature elevates the space and demonstrates how specialty materials can transform a room into an experience.
Public Amenities: Motorized Roller Shades with RTS Controls
In the property’s public amenity spaces, we installed motorized roller shades equipped with RTS controls (Radio Technology Somfy®). This system gives the staff and residents effortless, wireless control of natural light throughout the day. These shades have recessed installation creating a clean, minimalist look. Seamless integration with the architecture and modern convenience with the wall mounted controls that are easy to use and as convenient as a light switch. These sleek shades support the building’s contemporary design while offering durability, performance, and a polished aesthetic.
Residential Units: Faux Wood Horizontal Blinds
In the individual apartments, we installed faux wood horizontal blinds, chosen for their balance of practicality, style, and affordability. Faux wood blinds are an excellent benefit to MDU offering Light filtering, excellent privacy, moisture resistant materials and easy operation to residents. These blinds deliver a clean, consistent look across all units, complementing the property’s interior finishes while meeting the daily needs of residents.
