It Started With an Attorney and a Few Power Tools
In 1971, Donald Kautz left a law practice in Denver for a workshop. He had some power tools and a plain idea about how work should go: do it right, stand behind it, and answer when someone calls.Fifty-five years later, the tools have changed. The idea has not.
Don’s granddaughter Lisa Kautz runs the company now, the third generation of the family to do it, and Royal Textile is still in Denver, still covering commercial windows across Colorado and Wyoming.

Our leadership team sets the direction for Royal Textile Products, but the company’s success has always been built by the people behind every project. That means the seamstresses in our Colorado workroom, the project managers who keep every scope on schedule, and our trained in-house installers who finish the job right. For 55 years, this in-house team has been the reason contractors and property teams keep coming back.
